The Dental Implant Restorative Continuum is designed to help you build your dental implant practice by educating dentists on how to routinely restore dental implants. The full program is organized into four modules based on the unique treatment indication. Each module is presented over two and a half days in a small group setting, to stimulate interactive learning. As part of the Dental Implant Restorative Continuum, participants are encouraged to bring cases that they will restore during each module.

Why would a dentist want to attend a Dental Implant Restorative Continuum? The sessions are designed for a small group setting. Participants learn the correct way to restore a dental implant based upon the defined treatment indication. Tuition in most cases is below comparable courses. During the course, participants treatment-plan and restore dental implants on their own patients. Participants earn 20 CEU's each module through lecture, hands-on, and patient application from a quality instructor. An additional 5 CEU's will be earned by participants through self-instructed course material (homework) per module.

Course Objectives:

Upon Completion of the Continuum participants should:

1. Have a basic understanding of the surgical placement of dental implants.
2. Understand the history and current status of dental implants.
3. Differentiate between different prosthetic options for impalnt dentistry.
4. Gain proficiency in diagnosis and treatment planning.
5. Master the restorative steps for dental implants.
6. Understand the rationale for implants versus bridges and dentures.
7. Recognize the differences between implant occlusion and natural occlusion.
8. Transform restorative decision-making and execution into a simple and easy process.
9. Recognize the ideal implant size with regard to implant restoration.
10. Learn how to gain patient acceptance for dental implant treatment.
11. Identify the difference between implant-supported dentures and implant retained dentures.
12. Understand the rationale for implant overdentures.
13. Recognize how dental implant maintenance impacts longevity of implant treatment.
14. Learn how to avoid or manage complications.
15. Identify the predominant complication factors within implant dentistry.
