American Heart Association Healthcare Provider
CPR Course Objectives

This course will provide licensed healthcare providers the skills to adequately provide life saving skills to the patients they serve. Participants will complete a training DVD published by the AHA which allows them to view and practice the skills required with the 2010 CPR methods in saving lives with the most current methods established by cardiologists.

Participants will learn basic life support skills for one and two providers as well as a team approach to saving lives. Other course objectives include:

  • Proper use of face shields
  • Proper use of bag mask
  • O2 management
  • How to use an AED for adults, children, and infants
  • Management of conscious and unconscious choking victims

This course is approved by the NCSBDE for licenses renewal and provides a 2 year certification. Dental assistants will received a certificate of completion for their DANB certification.

Neplus S. Hall has been working in the field ofemergencymedicine since 1978, when she completed her Emergency Medical Technician class at Davidson County Community College. Since then she has volunteered as an EMT in her local fire department, been an EMT instructor, EMT examiner, taught classes focusing on Medical Emergencies in the Dental Office, and thousands of CPR classes across North Carolina. She completed her ACLS training through Innovative Solutions at Presbyterian Hospital. She founded PreventionPlus, a company which provides quality individual and staff training for healthcare providers in current cardiopulmonary resuscitation and AED techniques as well as emergency training updates. It has been her pleasure to be affiliated with both Bowman Gray and Innovative Solutions training Centers.

It is now with great pride she is offering her services through Dental Office Solutions.
